April 2007
April Synopsis
April started with seasonable temperatures and relatively dry
conditions. By the morning of the 10th however, the temperature dropped to 40F, just one degree warmer than the
record minimum temperature for April. That also came with moderate amounts of rain. Light to moderate amounts of
rain fell thru the third week but the last week was dry and warmed into the 70's during the day. The 3.16"
in Petrolia was the third driest April in the past ten years and about half of the normal (average). The average
temperature for the month was above normal for the second straight month, after three months of record cold months.
